EXAMINING THE PRESCHOOL EDUCATION PROGRAMS IN KYRGYZSTAN ACCORDING TO THE COUNSELING PROBLEM AREAS

Abstract

The aim of this research is to examine the types of guidance in preschool programs according to their problem areas. In the research, document analysis from the qualitative research method was used. The "content analysis" technique was used for the analysis of the data. The data on the examination of the preschool programs in terms of the problem areas of guidance were collected by document analysis. In the research, the content of the pre-school Balalık and Nariste programs, which are used in pre-school institutions and prepared in accordance with the National Education Standard developed by the Kyrgyz Ministry of National Education, were examined according to the problem areas of the guidance types. The data were analyzed by interpreting the data according to the predetermined themes with descriptive analysis. The subjects were examined at three levels as personal-social, educational and professional, and these subjects were divided into sub-dimensions according to their purposes. In the Balalık program, which was examined as a result of the research, subjects related to the problem areas of personal-social, educational and vocational guidance were included at a sufficient level, but it was concluded that the number of items related to the vocational guidance dimension was less while the dimension of preparation for primary school was emphasized. It was concluded that all areas in the Nariste program were insufficient and only the dimension of preparing for primary school was dominant in educational guidance.
