Abstract

The subject of the study is the educational space of a pedagogical university aimed at the formation of the social and personal competence of future primary school teachers. The purpose of the study: to study the content of the educational space of Pavlodar Pedagogical University named after Alkey Margulan in order to create conditions for the formation of socio-personal competence of students of the educational program «Pedagogy and methods of primary education». Theoretical, empirical, and mathematical research methods were used in the study. The results obtained made it possible to identify the involvement of students in the educational process of the university, to determine its advantages and disadvantages. The scientific value of the research lies in determining the role and approaches to creating the educational space of the university in the preparation of future primary school teachers. The practical significance of the results obtained is reflected in the directions proposed in the article for the organization of the educational space of a pedagogical university for the formation of social and personal competence of future primary school teachers. As recommendations in the perspective of the study, it is pointed out the need for active cooperation between a pedagogical university and an elementary school to study relevant innovative technologies of teaching and upbringing for the formation of a teacher.
