Abstract

The subject of the study is the technology of natural parothermal treatment of sheaves with a grain of rice. The aim of the work wasto analyze the existing technology of natural steam-thermal treatment of sheaves with rice grain ear and to identify the drawbacks for further improvement and automation of processes of post- harvest steam-theatment ofrice sheaves, by creating mobile units. To achieve the goals, analytical, field and laboratory methods of research were used in the studies. The results of conducted experimental researches showed that depending on desiredrice shade (white-beige up to 3 days, ''zarcha ''- light brown up to 7 days and ''dasta saryk '' - dark brown, 12 days and more) the duration of rice plant sheaves storage in a stack depends. The big dis advantage of the existing technology of natural steam- thermal treatment for a certain period of time ( 3-7-10-12 days and more) is the lack of control over the physical and chemical processes occurringin the skid: from stopping water supply (minimum 15 days) to the beginning of harvesting, condition of the stalk (its humidity) received for natural stream-thermal treatment, temperature in side the skid, which in this case is determined only by days from the beginning of stewing process. To achieve the desired shade, most farmers use various dyes, in the from of red clay with the addition of oil, which deteriorates the performance of rice. As a result, there is a need to improve and automate the process of post-harvest steam-thermal treatment of rice sheaves by creating mobile units in order to preserve qualitative indicators of Uzgen rice.
