Abstract

The relevance of the problem presented in the article is determined by the currently growing interest in the problem of the formation of the economic culture of primary school children in educational institutions. The aim of the study is to identify the main reasons affecting the formation of a low economic culture in primary school children and to develop proposals for its improvement. In the course of writing the article, the following methods and methodologies were used. So in the process of research, methods of synthesis and analysis of scientific literature, methods of generalization and comparison of the information received were applied. The research results were formulated in the form of recommendations for increasing the economic education of primary school children and proposals for its improvement were developed. Scope of the results: the practical significance of the study lies in the possibility of using theoretical developments and research results in the development or improvement of the regulatory framework for the development of financial literacy in educational institutions by state bodies, as well as in the educational process to prepare teachers for teaching economic disciplines for primary schoolchildren.
