Abstract

         In this work, the subject of research is the psychological aspects of the development of reading activity of primary school students. The purpose of the research is to talk about what analyzers are involved in the reading activity of students, how to create interest in reading books, and how to invite to read books by way of surprise. Research method - in the process of research, methods of discussion and analysis, summarization of the obtained information were used. In order to methodically teach children to read books, it is necessary to use interest as a force that leads to reading at all stages of the formation of independence of readers, taking into account the age and individual abilities of children. Opinions of domestic and foreign scientists are presented on this issue. The concept of cognitive interest is clarified. It was noted that it is possible to achieve results only in systematic and targeted implementation. For that, it was noted that the teacher should always take into account the psychological laws of the student's reading development.
