Abstract

The research subject of this work considered ways to solve the problem of food security of the Kyrgyz Republic in the context of the Eurasian Economic Union. The purpose of the research is to develop the mechanisms for ensuring food safety of the Kyrgyz Republic in the context of integration, as well as to improve the state regulation of food safety. Research methods: statistical, analytical, monographic studies. Based on the results of the conducted research, by evaluating the agro-food market in the Kyrgyz Republic in the context of integration, the problems of ensuring food safety were identified, and ways to solve them through state support were proposed. According to the study, a strategy for ensuring national food security, development of import substitution and improvement of state regulatory mechanisms is proposed to effectively solve the problem of food security in the context of integration. As part of its implementation, measures are proposed to improve the deep specialization of the country's agrarian production in the production and export of competitive products (meat, milk, vegetables, potatoes, etc.) to the Eurasian market. In the proposed work, the problem of food security of the Kyrgyz Republic in the context of the Eurasian Economic Union was studied, and their theoretical and practical provisions were clarified.
