Abstract

In this paper, the subject of research is the problem of harassment in its wide manifestation in the medical environment. The purpose of the study is to analyze exicting disparate approaches to the modern understanding of the term “harassment” in relation to healthcare organizations and put forward proposals for the prevention and elimination of this negative phenomenon. The main research method is analytical. Based on the analysis, the following results were obtained: nurses are most exposed to harassment in healthcare organizations. The main factors leading to harassment of medical workers in the broadest sense of the word are: low social status, poor social security both on the part of the state and on the part of the employer. The scientific value of the results obtained lies in the fact that for the first time the problems of harassment in the medical environment of Kyrgyzstan were studied. The practical significance of the results obtained lies in the fact that an assessment of the phenomenon of harassment in the medical environment is given and ways of counteracting it are proposed. This problem needs to be studied from different points of view, including legal ones.
