Abstract

In this work, studies were carried out on the use of intratruncal injections for the protection of English oak (Quercus robur L.) from the oak miner (Profenusa pygmaea Klug). This species has historically recently entered the city of Bishkek and began to cause significant damage to oak trees. The search for effective biological and other means of combating this pest that are safe for citizens and the environment is an urgent and paramount task for preserving green urban spaces. In 2021 year in the parks and green areas of Bishkek, experiments were carried out on the use of intratruncal injections on English oak with Savoy 2 preparation to protect against oak miner. The volume of the drug was calculated depending on the diameter of the tree trunk. The drug weakly protected the oaks from the mining oak sawfly. In order to obtain final conclusions on the protection of pedunculate oak from oak miner with Savoy 2, it is necessary to conduct a series of experiments on the use of intratruncal injections.
