THE NATURE OF COORDINATION ABILITIES AND THE WAYS OF THEIR DEVELOPMENT IN UNDERSTANDING OF STUDENTS, UNIVERSITY TEACHERS AND VOLLEYBALL COACHES

The subject of this research is the nature of coordination abilities and the ways of their development in understanding of students, university teachers and volleyball coaches. The purpose of the study is to study the ideas of students, university teachers and volleyball coaches about the nature of human coordination ability and ways to improve it. The main research methods used is analysing of literary sources, questionnaires, as well as analysing and synthesis of the collected data. University students, studying physical education, do not have a clear understanding of key competencies and ways of their development, which requires additional knowledge. Physical education teachers have only a superficial understanding of these issues and must deepen their knowledge. Volleyball coaches generally have a satisfactory understanding of the nature of key competencies, but 18% of them need a deeper understanding of the theory and methodology of sports training.
