CHANGES IN DENTAL INDICES BEFORE AND AFTER TREATMENT IN PERSONS WITH CARIES AND ITS COMPLICATIONS

Abstract

In this work, the subject of the study is the dental status of patients with caries and its complications before and after treatment. The purpose of the study is to define changes in dental indices before and after treatment. Research methods: determine dental status using the Fedorov-Volodkin hygienic index, Schiller-Pisarev test and periodontal index. The results obtained showed that dental indicators before treatment were with higher values, after sanitation of the oral cavity the indicators improved significantly. Dental status is one of the main indicators of the general condition of the body. It is necessary to develop systems of measures to reduce the rates of oral diseases. Prevention should prevent the early loss of permanent teeth be an integral part of programs to improve the health of the nation.
