Abstract

The subject of research in this work is the legal profession of the Kyrgyz Republic and the process of advocacy. The purpose of the study is to identify the functions and principles of the work of lawyers, analyze the regulatory legal framework, and confirm the independence of the bar as a social institution. The research uses methods of analyzing the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic on advocacy and advocacy. The role of the bar as an independent social institution in modern society was examined and analytical studies were conducted. The normative legal bases defining the functions and principles of the activity of lawyers are analyzed, emphasis is placed on their independence as a social institution. It was noted that special attention should be paid to the role of lawyers in ensuring the rights of citizens and observing the principles of justice. The article analyzes the regulatory legal framework for the activities of lawyers, their relationship with law enforcement agencies, as well as aspects affecting the independence of the legal profession. The analysis showed that the research results are aimed at expanding the understanding of the role of advocacy in the legal system and creating a basis for further research in this area.
