Abstract

The subject of the study is the artistic function of the portrait in the works of modern poets. The purpose of the study is to consider and evaluate portrait descriptions in the poetry of poets within the framework of time and space. On a periodic basis, the political, socio-economic conditions of life of the Kyrgyz in the 19th century are examined, the features and influence on portraits are examined and objectively analyzed. The spirit of any era is described and reflected as a mirror in the works of creative people. Using comparative and descriptive methods, it has been established that the historical path of the people is reflected in the deep thoughts of poets, storytellers, critics, thinkers and shows the soul of the people as a whole. This work is devoted to portrait images during the period of creativity of modern poets Kalygul Bai uulu and Arstanbek Builash uulu and emphasizes the value of the research.
