CALCULATION OF RECREATIONAL LOAD AND CAPACITY OF THE PARK NAMED AFTER T. SATYLGANOV

Abstract

This article examines the recreational load and capacity of the park named after T. Satylganov in the city of Osh as the subject of research. The purpose of the study was to calculate the recreational capabilities of the park. Because the preservation of city parks and assessment of their ecological condition are decided, first of all, by determining the maximum permissible recreational potential of the park. The recreational capacity of the park is determined as the sum of permitted recreational loads and the areas of individual areas in this territory. The study used field research and mathematical methods. The number of vacationers simultaneously visiting the park was taken to be 10% of the population living in the accessible zone of the city of Osh. Based on the research results, the recreational load and capacity of the park were calculated, and its functional zone was assessed by analyzing its current state. Determining the recreational load of city parks is of great practical importance in urban planning and urban environment management. The calculation of this parameter allows us to assess the demand and load of parks by citizens, optimize the use of these territories, develop measures to improve the infrastructure and service of parks, and also make decisions on the allocation of resources to meet society's needs for green areas for recreation and leisure.
