Abstract

The subject of the study is to analyze the concept of representation in civil litigation, its role and connection with other legal phenomena. The purpose of the study is an in-depth study of legal representation in civil court, as well as an analysis of its types and role in the process. The work uses logical, comparative legal, historical and formal legal research methods. Results Obtained Representation in court is a legal activity in which one person (representative) acts on behalf of another person (principal) in legal proceedings. The grounds of representation include voluntary (contractual) representation, legal representation and appointment (official) representation. Types of representation include power of attorney, trust management of property, representation in court, representation in arbitration proceedings, representation in state and local government bodies, and agency agreement. The results obtained can be used in the practice of lawyers, attorneys and anyone involved in representation in court. Future research could be aimed at analyzing the effectiveness of different types of representation in court and developing recommendations for improving this practice.
