SOME PROBLEMS OF INCLUDING TERMS IN THE KYRGYZ-RUSSIAN DICTIONARY BY K. K. YUDAKHIN

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to analyze the sectoral terms included in the Kyrgyz-Russian dictionary of K.K. Yudakhin, which is a treasure trove of the main vocabulary of the Kyrgyz language, and also to consider the reasons and conditions as a result of which certain terms are not included in this dictionary.With the development of science, technology and economic activity of native speakers of the Kyrgyz language, the number of terms increases, but despite this, most of these terms require more careful study, unification, the problem of which can be solved mainly by their inclusion in this monumental masterpiece. Of course, about 50 years have passed since the release of the dictionary, and the economy, the socio-political situation in the country, education, and science have changed dramatically. The authors of this article have grouped the terms by industry and express confidence that with the problem of their inclusion, it is possible to unify and identify the industry terms of the Kyrgyz language. For example, the terms of many branches of Kyrgyz terminology such as agriculture, physics, astronomy, theater, cinema, music, fine arts, sports, etc. are given. and some of them are accompanied by linguistic analysis.
