VOCABULARY-SEMANTIC CLASSIFICATION OF PLEONASMS

Abstract

The subject of the research is the lexico-semantic groups, grouped according to the semantic ratio of the components of the nominal pleonasm. The aim of the study is to show the systematic organization of pleonasms in the language based on the semantic classification of the pleonasms of the Kyrgyz language into lexical and semantic groups. The study used method of analysis of factual material. The results of the study suggest that twenty-four lexico-semantic groups of nominal pleonasms were identified as conclusions. The main semantic field in the pleonasms is made up of such topics as "man", "the sphere of objects and objects in life", "natural phenomena", "abstract phenomena" and emphasizes the conclusions and foundations taken from thematic and argumental studies. The research results can be used in science and practice, in teaching semiotics and in the analysis of the language of fiction.
