THE ROLE AND PLACE OF INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGIES TECHNOLOGY IN SOCIETY

Abstract

This paper examines the issues of globalization of the world and related common problems for different countries of the world, the use of information and communication technologies in society. The purpose of the study is to determine the role of information and communication technologies in the formation of the national education system in the process of globalization. It has been revealed that in order to improve the quality of engineering training in our country, changes and additions to the two-level educational standard are required. It is proposed to additionally include in the two-level educational standard a five-year training of students with the assignment of an engineer qualification in the relevant specialties. A gradual modernization of the structure and content of the country's education system is proposed, which meets the requirements of the education system of developed countries of the world.
