Abstract

The subject of the research is the stories of Yrysbek Abykan, who for almost 30 years devoted his life to writing prose in Chinese-Kyrgyz literature, analyzing the ideological and artistic features of his works, maintaining their chronological sequence, to determine the history of the development of Kyrgyz prose in China in the 60s. The purpose of the study is to note the works of Yrysbek Abykan in Kyrgyz literature of the 1960s-1990s, the problems raised in them, details of the artistic plot, the characters involved, ideological orientations, as well as his contribution to Chinese-Kyrgyz literature of the 1960s. The research methods were the author's collections of works "White Falcon", "Life", "Sleepless Nights", and "Indelible Mark", articles about him in the press, as well as materials published in the form of textbooks. As a result of the study, analyzing the writer’s creative path, the history of the development of the prose genre, and Kyrgyz writers living in China since the 1960s is outlined in parallel; we also learn political-ideological orientations, artistic features, and the problems raised. The scientific value of the study lies in the fact that the creative path of Yrysbek Abykan, for the first time in Kyrgyzstan, is considered in chronological order, and this is valuable from the point of view of the directions of development and popularization of Kyrgyz prose in China. in the 60s.The practical significance of the study lies in the fact that a professional philologist must know the history, culture, and literature of the Kyrgyz living abroad; the content of the article will be fundamental material for philology students, graduate students, graduate students, and readers. As a future research recommendation, the goal is to conduct expeditionary research to study the history, culture, and literature of Kyrgyz living abroad, as during the Soviet Union.
