Abstract

Subject of study. The monosyllabic root words Ak-Bulak and Bar-kyr-ak, which make up the toponym, are considered an etymological analysis of morphemes belonging to the Kyrgyz-Turkish linguistic layer. The purpose of the study is to compare toponyms with lexical units of related languages and identify their internal essence based on linguistic facts. Research methods. Along with etymological analysis, semantic analysis was used in the system of comparative historical method. The value of the study lies in conducting an etymological analysis of the toponym for the first time based on the historical-comparative method. The lexical-semantic and structural-word-formation models are determined, and the features of the formation of toponyms are shown using the historical-linguistic method. The results have been received. The main component of the toponym is the root word aak. The term "Aak-Bulak", meaning "small, small" springs, is derived from the word bul-ak, which means "flowing spring water, moving water". Ak-Bulak, Barkyrak, and other toponyms are evidence of this. The practical value of the study is that it can serve as a linguistic basis in the field of etymology and lexicology in Kyrgyz linguistics. Offer. The Kyrgyz language is the great heritage of the Kyrgyz people. That is why the sacred duty of a master of words is to reveal the original form of mysterious toponyms in the language of their ancestors or to pass on to future generations ancient words that have fallen out of use. After all, the Kyrgyz language and history have been distorted. Therefore, our task is to restore historical justice. Only then will the scientist achieve effective results in his scientific activities and contribute to Kyrgyz linguistics.
