THE STUDY OF THE TERM CONCEPT IN LINGUOCOGNITIVE AND LINGUOCULTURAL DIRECTIONS

Abstract

In this paper, the subject of research is the term concept in the linguocognitive and linguocultural directions. The purpose of this work is to analyze and determine whether a concept is a category that has a mental, observational character and its characteristics based on definitions given by many scientists. The research uses methods of analysis and comparison. It is revealed that the concept is the basic unit of cognitive linguistics and has many interpretations and definitions, as it is one of the central concepts of linguoculturology. It is determined that the ideas, methods and principles of cognitive linguistics and linguistic research in Kyrgyz linguistics are not systematized and described.
