Abstract

The subject of research in this work is pests of rice agrocenoses in Kyrgyzstan. The purpose of the study: to determine the species composition of pests living in the rice agrobiocenosis, to improve the overall protection system using modern means. The research method is pest control based on studying the dynamics of their development and the level of harmfulness of rice. The objectives of the study were to determine the species composition of harmful pests during the germination and development phases of rice, to create the dynamics of the development of rice pests, and to analyze natural entomophages in rice fields. The scientific significance of the research results lies in the fact that the main types of rice pests have been studied, which consists in improving methods of their distribution, damage and (agrotechnical, chemical) control. An increase in the number of all beneficial insects is observed mainly in May-June. During these months, the number of coccinellids was observed to be 0.4-2.0 per 10 plants, and the number of lacewings was 1.2-5.0. The types and significance of entomophages have been studied.
