Abstract

In this work, the upper and lower traverses of the frame of a mechanical stone splitting press were studied in order to determine the necessary conditions for its strength to determine the stiffness coefficients of the traverses. Methods for compiling calculation schemes and transforming analytical expressions were used. A strength calculation of the most loaded structural elements of the press was carried out: the press frame, the lower and upper plates of the frame. The results obtained make it possible to develop a methodology for selecting rational parameters for the upper and lower traverses of the frame of a mechanical stone splitting press and improve their design.
