Abstract

The subject of this article is the upbringing of harmony and patriotism in schoolchildren in teaching the Manas epic. The aim of the study is to focus on the teaching of the epic "Manas", the introduction of the special subject "Manas" into the subject of Kyrgyz literature in the senior grades of the school, the importance of teaching the course, the goals of current problems and solutions. Although the theoretical and methodological basis for teaching this course has been created, the methodological system is studied in practice, but in a specific area - the technology of teaching at school, unfortunately, has not been studied consistently, its main reasons and contradictions. The role of our great epic in world literature was also considered. Based on the epic "Manas", the author tells about eternal ideas that cultivate unity and patriotism, inspire schoolchildren, preserve and increase our valuable heritage. The article presents theoretical and practical assistance to teachers of the Kyrgyz language and literature in secondary schools in Kyrgyzstan and university teachers.
