Abstract

          In this article, the subject of research is the organization students’ cognitive activity using the information and communication technologies.The aim of the article is defining the effectiveness of the information and  communication technologies in the organization of students’ cognitive activity. Methods of research: analysis, observation, monitoring.The study showed that the methods used contribute to the development of students' independence, self-organization, and self-esteem. The materials of the article are recommended for use in organizing students' independent work for university teachers
