DISTRIBUTION OF INSURANCE FOR CHILDREN WITH DISABILITY FROM DISEASES OF THE NERVOUS SYSTEM IN THE KYRGYZ REPUBLIC

Abstract

        The article analyzes the structure and prevalence of disability among children aged 0-18 due to diseases of the nervous system. The study was conducted on the basis of statistical data of children with disabilities due to neurological disorders in the Kyrgyz Republic for 2016-2018. In 2018, 178,751 PWDs, of which 6.1% were recognized as primary PWDs. In Kyrgyzstan, more than 100 thousand people receive disability benefits. 106 thousand people receive disability benefits. About half of them are women - 48 thousand. Of these, group 1 is 9 thousand, group 2 is 76 thousand, 3 grappa is 21 thousand. From the State budget, 360 million soms are spent monthly on their allowance, which is 4 billion soms a year. The size of the disability benefit is on average 4,400 soms. Every year in the Kyrgyz Republic there is an increase in children with disabilities as a result of diseases of the nervous system. For example, in 2016, the Republican indicator per 10 thousand population was 34.5 and as of January 1, 2019 it was 36.7  children. During the study period (2016-2018), the highest indicator of children with disabilities with neurological disorders in the Issyk-Kul region was 50.1. The lowest rate was observed in the Osh region in 2016, which was 25.6 per 10 thousand inhabitants. The received data justify the need for timely organization of dispensary observation, treatment, rehabilitation and prevention of children with disabilities, the follow-up of neurological diseases.
