ANALYSIS OF METHODS FOR ASSESSING DUST PERMEABILITY OF PERSONAL PROTECTION MEANS

Abstract

           In this article, the presents of a comparative analysis of research methods for assessing the dust permeability of textile materials and personal protective equipment. Studies have been carried out to address the basic dust protection requirements for personal protective equipment. The test methods of textile materials and personal protective equipment provided for by the standards of general technical conditions and standards for test methods are investigated. As a result of the studies, the possibility and prospects of using alternative methods, for example, the densitometry method for assessing the dust permeability of textile materials, special clothing and personal protective equipment and the ability to remove dust, were revealed.
