Abstract

The subject of this article is a computer programming language, namely the PascalABC programming language. The aim of the study was to determine software metrics using a graph diagram presented in an application created in the PascalABC programming language. To determine the metric, a software graph created using graph theory was used, as well as the McCabe cyclomatic number based on the resulting directed graph. Based on the results of the metric for assessing the structural complexity of the program, obtained by the McCabe formula, a program graph with a directed graph was created, and the metrics were determined, and it was concluded that they have an average algorithmic complexity. A feature of this article is the definition of software metrics by building a graph in a computer program. Methods for determining the software metric using the McCabe equation based on a directed graph are proposed.
