Abstract

The article is devoted to the current problem of heating residential premises using economical electric heating boilers. The subject of research was the heat and mass transfer processes occurring in the ionization chamber of ion-electrode boilers. Research was carried out with the aim of creating highly efficient heating boilers that differ from the known ones in the simplicity of design, availability and cheapness of the materials used. Methods of comparative analyzes of experimental data were used in the studies. Based on the experiments carried out, data on power consumption and time to reach the required temperature of the heating system were established. A comparative analysis of the obtained results with known electric boilers showed the relative efficiency of ion-electrode boilers. Based on the results obtained, specific recommendations are given for the use of the developed ion-electrode furnaces in the heating systems of private houses.
