Abstract

              The subject of the study in this article is to take into account some factors that make it possible to get closer to the real work of structures of strip foundations of buildings and structures. The main purpose of the study carried out in the article is to determine the values ​​of the coefficient of relative stiffness of the soil base (β) depending on the dimensions of the cross section, the span length of the foundation beam and the soil bed coefficient. Based on the dependencies from which the value of the coefficient of relative rigidity of the elastic foundation is determined, a calculation program was compiled in the Delphi environment, and the graphs were displayed using the AutoCAD system. From the analysis carried out in the article, it follows that the results obtained will further refine the calculations of various foundation schemes, taking into account their real work. The research carried out in the article will make it possible in the future to take into account cases of soil failure under buildings and structures (incomplete contact of foundation structures with the soil), which is an urgent task in the conditions of designing foundations on subsiding soils.
