SPARROW THE CITY OSH

Abstract

The subject of this research work is sparrow of Osh city. The study of ornithological features, the nature of the arrival-departure, quantitative density by seasons and species composition of the sparrow squad (Passeriformes) spread in Osh city became the goal of our research. The studies were carried out using the method of straight-line transect, and the method of route accounting in determining number indicators. Five species of the Passeridae (Passer domesticus) and a field sparrow (Passer montanus ) are dominant species. The specific distribution in the stats accounts for multi-storey and one-storey houses and the area of the city garbage dump. The reason for this is that in these stats at all times of the year compared to other stats food for these birds is abundant. The conducted studies provide an opportunity to assess the current state of ornithology of Osh city. The study of species composition as well as bird density in artificial and natural ecosystems has a great scientific, practical, moral and aesthetic significance. The work carried out in this field of science contributes to the improvement of scientific knowledge in the conservation of ecological biodiversity.
