Abstract

In this paper, the subject of the study is the problems of quality medical care to the population in day hospitals and emergency medical stations. The research was conducted to assess the quality of medical care to the population in day hospitals and emergency medical stations. The research uses methods of statistical data analysis and evaluation of the quality of emergency medical care. The dynamics of the growth of calls for emergency medical care indicates that emergency medical institutions have taken over part of the inpatient services to provide emergency care to patients with chronic diseases and acute colds. The efficiency, consistency and organization of the work of the reception departments of hospitals during the delivery of patients was evaluated. The high appeal of the adult population for emergency medical care in the spring period is largely due to the seasonality of diseases, especially respiratory organs, which account for more than half of all appeals, an increase in the number of exacerbations of chronic diseases, accidents and injuries requiring emergency care during the pre-hospital period. Consequently, the appeal of the population to emergency medical care has a well-defined pattern in the time of receipt of calls. The obtained results of the expert assessment allow, when implementing organizational measures, to significantly improve the quality indicators of emergency medical care to the rural population.
